Booking Policies & Guest Responsibilities
Welcome to Impala Stays. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made directly through our website and apply to all guests staying at our properties in Golden Beach and Sale, Victoria.
By making a reservation with Impala Stays, you agree to the following terms.
1. Bookings & Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
Full payment or the required deposit (as specified at the time of booking) must be received to secure your reservation.
Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies are displayed at the time of booking and vary depending on the rate selected.
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed to the original payment method.
We recommend guests obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
3. Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in and check-out times are provided in your booking confirmation.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request but is not guaranteed.
Self check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival.
4. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
- Treat the property with care and respect
- Comply with all house rules provided
- Not exceed the maximum occupancy listed
- Avoid excessive noise or disturbance
- Supervise children and pets at all times
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.
5. Damage, Loss & Cleaning
We reserve the right to charge guests for:
- Damage to the property or its contents
- Excessive cleaning required after departure
- Missing items
- Additional charges will be communicated with supporting evidence where applicable.
6. Pets
Where pets are permitted, guests must:
- Keep pets under control at all times
- Prevent pets from accessing furniture or bedding
- Clean up after pets
Additional cleaning fees may apply if required.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Impala Stays shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury
- Loss, theft or damage to guest belongings
- Interruptions to services beyond our reasonable control
- Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Force Majeure
Impala Stays is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or utility outages.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies.
